Happy New Year!!!

Dear reader:

Well, today 2010 comes to an end.  What a year it has been!  On my side things are looking positive. Lots of great memories and new experiences.  I wish that 2011 fills you with lots of blessings, beautiful memories, unlimited hope, courage to face good or bad changes, good health all year, cherished moments with your loved ones, achieved goals,  and of course more healthy, happy, nub or tail wiggling, mischievous, frapping, caring, cuddling, adventurous corgis!!!!

Thanks to all of you for making us company in this blog, sharing experiences and comments.  Come back next year too.  There will be more little adventures and things to share.  Nala & Cosmo wag their nub and tail anticipating your visit.

To all, Happy New Year!! Welcome 2011!

A New Year is coming!!  FRAP  all year around!  Yay!

Secret Santa Corgi Gift!!! Christmas 2010

I am a late posting about this.  But finally I can get around.  Our secret Santa were  A Echempati and Gryff from Not a Leaf Blog.  They send us an  Weekender Feedbag.  I loved it!!  It just solved the "Where should I carry the food?" question forever.  It is washable and seems sturdy enough.  It has a velcro closure that will keep "curious corgis" away from the food.  No more plastic bags!!!  This is it!  Thank you so much A and Gryff!!! We really liked our gift.

Fallter (Fall/Winter) 2010/ Secret Santa's Gift!!

Here in the "Sunshine State" we got what I call a Fallter (Fall/Winter).  These are the months that one day the weather will be in the 70's and then either 10 hrs later or the next day we are shivering at 27 degrees.  But I find myself lucky enough not to deal with snow.  Although many of you will differ.  One day, I will be daring enough.  But right now, I prefer being warm and cozy.  Here are some pics of the girls enjoying the Fallter:

Long dog.
Also we received our Secret Santa Gift a couple of weeks ago.  I have not been able to go to the internet too much.  Due to work and reading "The Girl With The Dragon Tatoo" Trilogy and "Merle's Door" the latter was our Paw it Forward gift from Amy and Winnie @ Herding the Corgi. All of these books are highly addictive. ; )

Here is the gift from the Secret Santa.  Waiting to be opened.  Can't wait!!!  Thanks!!!

Good morning!

"Good morning Mom!  I know is VERY early in the morning.  And it might be VERY cold outside.  But... I am ready to start my fun filled day!  You see?  I am awake, you should be awake too.  I know you are awake.  Let's go play.  Now. Now. Now."

Translated from Corgi Talk or "Wookie" sounds.

2010 FL Corgi Picnic Pics!

On Saturday, Nov 13, 2010.  Around 200 Corgis and their humans went to have a fun day at Melbourne, FL for the Annual Corgi Picnic in benefit of Corgi Aid.  This year was the biggest one and I can happily report that $3,500.00 were collected for Corgi Aid.  And $600 for Sunshine Corgi Rescue!  Yay!  It was great fun, and a great turn out.  All Corgis behaved so good and I can bet that when they returned home they were exhausted and with a big smile.  I will definitely will go next year, and will encourage you dear reader, if there is one of this Picnics in your state, please do your best to go.  I have chosen some of my best pics.  But for seeing really, professional, very good ones you can go to the FL Corgi Picnic Faceboook Page.  All sizes, shapes, colors, Cardis, Pembrokes...
